Questions buyers ask
What decides the price of car transport?
Distance and lane (a scheduled Riga–Bremen run is cheaper than a one-off to a rural address), the number of vehicles, open versus enclosed carrier, whether the car runs, timing flexibility and any customs work. Tell us all of it and the price we send is the price you pay.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 2–7 days on the road inside the EU depending on the lane and whether you’re on a scheduled carrier or a dedicated truck. UK, Switzerland and non-EU destinations add customs time. Your quote states a collection window and an expected delivery date.
Is my vehicle insured while it’s with you?
Yes — CMR liability with transport insurance, and every car is photo-documented at pickup and delivery. Full details are in our insurance terms.
Can you move a car that doesn’t run?
Yes. Our carriers carry winches for non-runners, accident-damaged and auction vehicles. Tell us the condition so the right truck is sent.
Do you handle customs for UK, Switzerland or UAE imports?
Yes. We arrange transit documents, ATA carnets for temporary imports and guide you on duty (typically ~10% for cars entering the EU) and VAT before the vehicle moves.
Do you also carry pallets and general freight?
Yes — alongside car carriers we run tautliner (curtainsider) trucks for palletised freight, full loads and groupage on the same European corridors.
