Customs cleared before the truck moves.
Our in-house brokerage team handles import and export declarations, transit documents and duty and VAT for vehicles and goods moving in or out of the EU — UK, Switzerland, UAE, USA and beyond.
Borders are where shipments stall. We clear them first.
Most delays aren’t on the road — they’re a missing invoice, a wrong tariff code or a VAT question nobody answered before the truck arrived. We prepare the paperwork, confirm the duty and VAT and book the clearance before your vehicle or cargo moves.
Because the same team also plans the transport, you don’t pass documents between a broker and a haulier. One contact, one invoice, no gaps.

About one minuteCustoms Clearance — what customers ask
What documents are required for customs clearance?
It depends on the shipment, but usually a commercial or purchase invoice, packing list, transport document (CMR or bill of lading) and, for vehicles, the registration or title. We send you an exact checklist at the start.
How much is import duty on a car coming into the EU?
For most passenger cars from outside the EU the customs duty is around 10% of the customs value, plus the VAT rate of the destination country. We confirm the exact figures before you commit.
How long does customs clearance take?
It depends on the shipment and the country, but with complete documents it’s usually quick — preparing everything before the goods arrive is what keeps it short. We give you the expected timing with the checklist.
Can you clear a car bought in the UK or Switzerland?
Yes — UK and Swiss imports are among the moves we handle most often, including transport from the seller to your door.
What is a Carnet (CPD)?
A Carnet de Passages en Douanes is an international customs document that allows a vehicle to be temporarily imported duty-free, mainly for travel outside Europe. We guide you through eligibility, application and renewals.
Do I need an EORI number?
Businesses importing or exporting goods to or from the EU need one. Private individuals importing a vehicle usually don’t — we’ll tell you what applies to you.
