- For goods: commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin if needed
For EU customs we also need the purchase invoice and, for companies, an EORI number. We send you an exact checklist when you book.
Import duty and VAT in the EU

Duty and VAT are charged on the customs value: the purchase price plus shipping and insurance to the EU. VAT depends on the country where the vehicle is cleared, from 17% to 27%. We confirm the exact figures in writing before the vehicle ships.

I am an expat leaving Saudi Arabia. Can I take my car to Europe?
Yes. If you lived outside the EU for at least 12 months and owned the car for at least 6 months, you may be able to import it free of duty and VAT under transfer of residence relief. We check your documents before the car ships.
Can a Saudi car be registered in Europe?
Usually yes, often with an individual approval in the destination country and sometimes changes to lights or other equipment. Tell us the make, model, year and country and we will tell you what usually applies.
Can you ship machinery and project cargo?
Yes. We book flat racks and open-top containers for heavy or oversized equipment, and deliver in Europe on our own trucks or with specialist partners.
