We collect in Kuwait City, Salmiya, Ahmadi and across the country, arrange the export paperwork and ship from Shuwaikh or Shuaiba by RoRo or container. In Europe our customs team clears the shipment and our own trucks deliver it.

Usually about 3 to 6 weeks at sea to North Europe, depending on the line, transhipment and routing. Your quote shows the current sailing. From the arrival port we deliver by road to any address in Europe.

For EU customs we also need the purchase invoice and, for companies, an EORI number. We send you an exact checklist when you book.
Import duty and VAT in the EU

Duty and VAT are charged on the customs value: the purchase price plus shipping and insurance to the EU. VAT depends on the country where the vehicle is cleared, from 17% to 27%. We confirm the exact figures in writing before the vehicle ships.

Can I ship my car and furniture together?
Yes, in a 20 ft or 40 ft container. The car is secured separately from the household goods.
Will I pay import duty in Europe?
Normally 10% duty on a passenger car plus local VAT. If you are moving your residence to the EU and meet the conditions, transfer of residence relief can remove both.
Can a Kuwaiti car be registered in Europe?
Usually yes, often with an individual approval in the destination country. Tell us the car and the country and we will tell you what usually applies.
How long does it take door to door?
Allow a few days for collection and export, the sea transit including any transhipment, and a few days in Europe for customs and delivery. Your quote gives a planned timeline.
